So, I'd like to gain permission to occasionally play as a changeling Brett Ward made a deal with to impersonate him until his contract runs out, so that he can finally die without Nanotrasen cloning him as per the conditions on the contract. The changeling would not be an antag, and would have the objectives of stay alive until the end of the round, and keep Nanotrasen from learning of Brett Ward's death and replacement.
How would I go about that? Should I make a special whitelist application for it, or just ask an admin in-game?

The problem is, Brett isn't supposed to be anything BUT a changeling impersonating him. I can't just have him ready every changeling round, and then delete him if he doesn't get it. He's not even supposed to be an antag, just a changeling that's supposed to be impersonating him.

I don't want antag roles. I want to roleplay as a species used for antag rounds, but as a normal crew member, NOT an antagonist.

Available races are Human, Unathi, Tajjie, Skrell, and, maybe in ridiculously-insane donator-only damned-good-reason-for-being-a-janitor-one, those planty dudes, and Vox.
Changeling is not a playable race. Brett Ward is not a changeling impersonating the previous Brett permanently. If he thinks he is, then that's his own delusion to have fun with.
Mechanically, and factually, he's a human.
This isn't likely to change, since Changelings are intentionally vastly more powerful than humans (regenerative state, extremely difficult to kill, starting DNA being enough to give them many powerful abilities we'd never give player races, etc, etc)

Well, it doesn't seem to be intended to be for asking us questions Reddit-style, it seems to be for directing questions and concerns regarding the server in an effort to receive help, which most likely can only be answered by admins. Which's exactly what Oswalius did. |

Os asked a question. I answered. Followup question, followup answer with a good chunk of elaboration since a simple 'No, that doesn't work at all' didn't seem to cut it.
There's not really any other questions going on in the thread.
I'm always game for an argument, but there's not really any point we're arguing here. Unless Os feels like he has a solid point as to why multitudes of rules of both the server, and baseline RP should be ignored because he made some deal with a changeling in some round or other.
