"Fear" RP, and why people need to think before they speak.

I always thought fear RP was about trying to avoid death, not just being afraid of anything. There's a fundamental difference between, "This guy's threatening me with a knife, and is clearly about to harm me, better try to disarm him or something," and "There's a maniac out on the station murdering people with a big glowy sword, better grab my crowbar and start vigilantin',"

I think that the first situation would be okay, but the second wouldn't. Iunno, I haven't been paying attention to the thread.
