The Cult of Nar’Sie is a secretive, religious extremist group, spread across all of human space. The Cult is dedicated to the resurrection of their God, as well as their own ascension.
On planets, the cult generally takes the form of an especially powerful criminal gang, with their extreme loyalty; it is very difficult for law enforcement to infiltrate the group. While planetside the Cult focuses on the acquisition of financial and material resources, partly to support the leaders of the Cult’s decadent lifestyle, but primarily to use to influence the planet on which they are based.
On more isolated outposts, colonies and space-based locations, the Cultists take an even more aggressive stance, often attempting to seize control of the location, either subjugating the unfortunates they find, or sacrificing them in an obscene manner to gain the attention of their malevolent God.
Nar’Sie does not leave it’s servants unprotected, on the contrary, it blesses even it’s lowest minion with powers beyond reckoning, leaving them capable of, absorbing the life force of a victim, capturing souls, or ripping holes in the fabric of space to achieve their aims.
There has been some success in exterminating the Cult groups, but the cost in credits and in people is extreme.
