So. Hawk joined nuclear operatives. It was quite entertaining and fun from my point, and was a pretty decent nuke round. My only regret, is that the shuttle was called early, before we had time for our big finale. I was desperately looking forward for some 'Syndicate Agent Hawk' and 'NT crew' RP this round, but operatives were smart in keeping Hawk away from people that would recognize him.
And I promise you, Hawk has all antags toggled off, so it was quite a surprise to spawn in the Syndicate base. It's a rare shift of events, that will probably not happen again, at least not for a very long time.
During the round, (after asking the other operatives if it was ok with them) I RPed Hawk as having been kidnapped by the Syndies, and implanted with their chip. He abhorred his predicament - bullied by one of his teammates, forced to follow orders from the leader, and helplessly watch the cameras as his beloved station was attacked. He even opened fire on his fellow crew mates, at the command of the operatives (ganked as little as possible, I honestly tried). He was basically enslaved to Syndicates' missions and goals. In the end, luck smiled on him, as someone brought the disk into the escape shuttle, forcing Hawk to go hunt after them. This concluded in Hawk being critically injured (Not killed! yay) and basically at the mercy of Centcomm.
Now that I got all the explaining out of the way.....................
I want your opinions on how I can canon this into Hawk's tale. After the round, I got inspired by my muse, and wrote the ending here, which I'm totally not advertising. Honest. *Spoiler alert!!* It basically sums up the idea that the whole incident was an elaborate psychological experiment on Hawk, concerning his military research program, Red Roots. *End spoiler alert!!*
So now, I ask Aurora, what do you think is actually more believable? Hawk gets kidnapped by Syndicate, and forced into service as a nuclear operative, or that everything was an orchestrated lie, in the pursuit of military research? Which is more believable, and which is something you'd actually be comfortable including your own characters in? Regardless of the answer, Hawk (and to extent, his crewmates) will think that he was kidnapped.
Or better yet, you got another idea to toss into the story?
