Simple to do.Make it so Blood-bags can accept other liquids. So that chemicals could be given to a patient over a time. It's pretty simple.

I know you can already put bottles full of stuff into IV stand, not sure about other containers.

Why dont we put inside Saline inside the IV bags or have something that can help heal people with saline. Of course it wont regenerate blood fast but atleast it in theory should also keep the person alive while he is being treated in the rest room for patients.
While the blood IV bag only gives plain blood, the saline actually slowly makes the human organism make blood and regain normal blood levels. Id say. Lately the IV blood bags arent used much beacuse you can eat to regain the blood level..but then again. it is good for RP wise after surgery or while doing surgery.

An inaprov/tricord mix does an even better job than saline could ever hope to do.

Inaprovaline is mainly used to atleast stabilized the patient and not to let it die. Tricord is just plain lazyness to treat wounded person. One stab and the persons okay. We're talking about roleplay, even though saline is not usefull but from my view of perspective id use saline if there was medical doctors and nurses on the station.

Why choose the least effective option, if you have a chemist who can dish out Tricord, lots of it too, on a moments notice? When working with someone's life, you generally want to go for the option that is guaranteed to save them.
