I would say that there is little point in officially branching out. Instead, if you're interested, find a group of people from here and play another game, like people are doing with ArmA 2.

The thing about doing DayZ, it would need people to have a high spec comp. Hazeron looks like it would take Minecraft's graphic wear, Gmod isn't bad, but I never went RPing in it.
Stated before though, most people won't actually buy games to RP on, so you'll maybe have 5 people on average.

If any of you know how to properly update a ATI Radeon HD 4600 series card, let me know. I tried to figure it out on Microsofts website, but it didn't help me at all. Just download a driver update from radeons website...no idea why you'd download from microsofts support.amd.com/en-us/download |

A few things on this front, in that altough we are, at heart, a role pley community, we dont nessiserily have to only play RP games.
ALSO if anyone is looking for a game there is always SinDome, a text based cyberpunk RPG

I've played sindome. It was waaaay too slow for me, unfortunately. The potential for RP is there, but it's thrown off by the fact that, at least for me, the game is too slow and clumsy. No offence, though; it's just not my cup of tea. ^_^
I think the Iron Realms MUDs are the only ones that really held me. *shrug*

The issue with this is that PZ is $15. As well, MP is super buggy as of now, more or less an alpha state. Stuff doesn't save correctly, bad client and player side connection, and issues with cheating. Also, anybody who plays on a Mac can't play with any PC gamers. If you want to play PZ MP, you'll most likely want to wait for it to become stable. |

Since branching out shouldn't only be stuck to "roleplaying games" there are some games that a few of us play fairly regularly.
AoE2 (Age of Empires 2 HD - Must be on steam) is pretty fun and is for those who do like playing strategy games....or piss around in but still win (looks to self)....
Yes I'm aware the price tag is £15 (~$20) so it's really up to you if you want to pay that. You could however wait until a sale is up, as it has been up for £3, and £5 with the expansion in the steam autumn sale last year.
Though it may not be a free game, it sure as hell is a fun game, minus all the annoying micro transactions that happen with games now-a-days. Also it's add free!
