I can't log in for some reason, and I have an inkling as to what's happening here, and so I won't have to blow up anyone's pager, I'll post what I've got here. When I try to join the server, whether through the pager, the hub, or using the current IP as of 11/10/2013 I get this 'Connecting...' and after about 20 or 30 seconds 'Connecting... failed'I've uninstalled and re installed Byond, restarted, and used 3 different computers in total, same result. Through the power of google-fu, I can discern that I'm not the only one who's suffered from this crippling affliction, its apparently kind of widespread. Also, at some point I found this www.byond.com/forum/?post=30262 if you crtl+f Connection, you'll find this: Connection failed? If people can't join because of a "Connection failed" message, see the Hosting Troubleshooter (to be written). idk how much help that is. I've also encountered this problem before, many times, before I started going to Aurora, other servers like Paradise station and Alium deathtrap, one day I was a semi-regular on Alium and the next I got the connection failed message on almost every RP server and some of the others. On some of those servers, I don't get the connection failed message anymore and can join them, but now its happening on aurora and that makes me sadface, so pls halp.

Not a bug. Just server crashing. With the server in a new home, it has to get settled in.
If anyone has connection issues, let me know right away.

It really doesn't mean the servers just down, I can sit here hitting join for 20 minutes and I'll always get the same result, I know this because I have done this. I mean it's not a one off thing, when it happens, it stays like that, and it only started happening on Aurora when the server changed homes.

Hm...well the server is up as of late and when you posted your reply. It currently only blocks Guests and Bans. Other than that...you should be able to connect.

I'm not able to join. I am getting the aforementioned problem, and as far as I know, I'm not banned, and I'm not a guest.

Try downloading a program that changes your IP for the time being, like a VPN or proxy. We need to know what we are dealing with. Also, make sure it legitimately changes your public IP address, not the one you find in ipconfig. If you want to know what that is, type: "what is my ip" in Google to find out.

Oh! I solved this a while ago. It's your firewall. Just do some tinkering and you'll get through <3
