Here's a thought: Shouldn't the alien races have slang for things? Like other races, insults, yadadada.
I have literally no idea of what they could be, as my knowledge of actual words for them is limited, but i expect smarter people could come up with something.

Good idea. Slang's a great way to develop a community/race/etc.
_______________________________________________________________
Soghun: Love their slang, like all military units. Slang is used to assert dominance over an underling, but rarely used when talking to a superior unless having proved ones self already. Using slang to a superior is similar to extending an olive branch, where being punished is a negative response and being ignored is considered a positive sign of respect.
Shellfresh: New, inexperienced recruit
Claws: Weapons. To Bare or Hide your claws is to locate/equip or disarm, respectively.
Dryskinned: Exhausted
Sniffing: Searching. Smells is used as an analogy often by the Soghun, such as a situation stinking of a person, or hating someones smell meaning to distrust them. Often it has little to do with an actual odour and more of a 'gut feeling', or based on other evidence.
Snake: A mix of an insult and a sign of respect, to describe someone who uses cowardly, but effective methods. Usually someone the Soghun would like to fight.
Water: Water is considered an element of laziness and weakness, fire its antithesis. A warden who sits around eating donuts and watching cameras would be considered wet.
Softskin: Non-Soghun races.
White: Disobedient and/or dead, a strong insult as well as a relic from the regular execution of such Soghun, as dead Soghun slowly colour white as their outer skin dies.

Tajaran would probably have slang that was meant to hide communications from their masters. It'd often be very practical, with words usually meaning necessities like 'Food, Water, Help', etc. In this sense, it's more of a prison code than cultural slang.
It's likely that this slang would have gone out of use, as it would remind the users of slavery. However, some may see it as remembrance of their ancestors.
Dirt - Food (due to harsh rationing for slaves, food trade was punished). A Tajaran who was told to 'Eat dirt' was likely being helped by friends, which speaks volumes on their mistreatment.
Cry - Water, similar to the above.
Whisker - Part of a litter that was neither authorised nor executed, an illegal child. Since when found, such were killed and their units punished as a whole, this term is used as an insult by modern Tajarans. It translates roughly to 'Harmful liability', with an extremely scathing tone.
Silver - Extremely dangerous. It's thought that this derives from the unwillingness of felines to step on foil.
Dark - Safe. Tajarans find comfort in shadows, as their night vision affords them working senses. It could be extrapolated from this that their Slavemasters had no such night vision, but this would be pure speculation.

Skrell would likely be more the kind for extreme technobabble than slang. They're fairly patient and logical, so excessive detail would make more sense to them than shortening to obscure phrases.
However, they notably find versatility in scientific terminology, applying them to social interactions and people quite naturally.
Though lacking in slang, terms such as 'Volatile', 'Acidic', 'Reactionary', 'Radical', 'Conducive', 'Pure', and so on, are used to describe people and situations as readily as chemical reactions.
Seriously, just open up a grade school science book and get creative.

Just a few brainfart ideas for slang, anywho. Y'all know how I love loring the place up.

I'd want to form it up properly and expand on it before we slap any official label on it.
Crits and contributions would probably help pump it up.

When I posted this my only thought was 'dans gonna have something great for skrell, but fuck me these are good.
I have a few for tajaran:
Walker: someone who is treacherous, and would sell out others for their own profit (snitches essentially), as in they walk alone, not trusted by the group or person
Mane: someone decided to be in charge, who is trusted and respected by them. Obviously referring to the mane of a big cat , I'd imagine that manes are a thing for tajaran. If not; something else could do
Sweet: something illegal or not allowed, like drugs and such. For the master controlled past it would have referred to things like weapons or contraband food and items
Mine aren't as good as dan's, clearly, but I feel sweet is a good one.

Also, I suggest that the unathi would call in respected humans meat shields or meat bags or something of the like.
Also, 'Oxidizing!' Comes to mind for our green and squishy fellows.

I was 100% looking for a word that fit what you've put down as 'Walker'. That seems great, fits walking away from the fold without having an aggressive tone. I like. Sweet's great and is pretty much straight-up prison code, and Mane works well.

I think Scruff would work better, because you would grab a cat by the scruff of their neck, not their mane.

I think that's the point. Scruff implies being dragged, whilst this is a slang for a leader. Maybe a Scruff would be a loyal follower of said Mane.

How about some slang words for us Humans that refer to our Xeno counterparts? Or would that be racist by NanoTrasen standards?

Think about how 'slang' used to refer to other races is considered today.
Yes, it'd be racist.
Doesn't mean it wouldn't exist, and somewhere it's established that it's basically just calling them the animal they're clearly anthro of.
Tajjies = Cats, moggies. Would likely upset them. Soghun = Lizards, scalies. Would likely make them angry. Skrell = Jellies, blobs. Would be taken as an indication that you were too dumb to remember 'Skrell', and likely cause them to be slightly pitiful and helpful towards you. Human = Monkey, ape, etc. Would likely provoke counter-insults.

I think there already is slang for them, I recall squid head is used for skrell, and tajaran are just forms of saying cat.

If I recall, most of the other races refer to humans as meat.
