TAU CETI DAILY - Now for the weekly report in the Tau Ceti system. Illegal pirate activity has been reported to have been intensifying at an extraordinary rate over the past few weeks. NanoTrasen officials have not commented on the recent incursions upon the NanoTrasen space station designated the NSS Aurora, notorious for its name as a plasma research facility, and known to be the twin sister of the late NSS Exodus, also a proud research facility. Reporters state that a break-in ensued at the cargo bay of the NSS Aurora, and multiple hostages were taken against their will.
The lawless brigands fled the scene after the theft of an ID card, which was used to order weapons and armor for their petty cause. “They got away with an entire arsenal of armor and weapons - an armory's worth…” stated the assigned Captain of the NSS Aurora, Liam Wesley.
It is reported that three casualties were discovered in the aftermath of the event at hand; one civilian and two security personnel were confirmed deceased by the medical staff, however, we know that all three casualties had attempted to single-highhandedly stop the attack outside the main force that cordoned off the cargo bay for attempted diplomacy.
Only one of the hostages were found alive at the scene, one confirmed to miss Inis Truesight. A reporter had been sent down to the NSS Aurora to get her statement on the matter, and so we’ll have more information for you on the morrow! You heard it here first, on Tau Ceti Daily News.

TAU CETI DAILY - This just in on Tau Ceti daily! Another attack has been reported to have had disastrous effects on the science vessel known as the NSS Aurora. It is confirmed that this attack is interconnected with the previous incursions, and that these brigands will not stop for anything to get what they want!
The pirates boarded the station through unknown means and it was later assumed that they were intent on kidnapping the assigned chemist for whichever devious plan they had cooked up for the occasion! Due to the inepitude of the assigned Captain and Head of Security, these brigands were able to take the Chief Medical Officer hostage.
Matters quickly escalated to a bloody battlefield, as over four casualties were reported at the scene by NanoTrasen investigators. However, due to the uncanny persistence of our security team, two of their own were reported deceased, and one other persecuted and imprisoned. One Hazel Finlay, the Head of Security in question aboard the NSS Aurora, was chronicled to have rushed in in a reckless attempt to handle the situation on her own, to no avail. It is safe to assume that the deaths that occurred were the result of her foolishness.
Onto more political and mercantile matters; A deal was apparently offered, but captain Zander Moon gave the order to return the prisoner before actually laying out a deal with the pirates. As a result, the pirates saw no reason to make a deal since the prisoner had been returned, apparently, for free. It is no mystery that this event will have a disastrous effect on the beloved Captain's career. You heard it here, folks, on Tau Ceti Daily!

(I wasn't actually present at the event, so sorry about that! I'll fix it now. Also, keep in mind that news reports are usually obnoxiously inaccurate at times, and just want to catch the attention of the viewers, while also staying true to the story.)

Anna rose gently taps Violet on the shoulder and says, "Th... T-That was when I g-got my scar..."
Violet gently places her hand onto Anna and softly whispers, "Its alright Anna. You are safe and happy, and thats all I ever want."
She then stands and walks out of the room, softly saying, "Now drink your tea, Phill will be here in a few minutes to take you back home."
Anna nods before taking a sip of her tea and turns the page of the newspaper.
