Hello everyone! I've decided to start a community Dwarf fortress thread, but rather than have one Mega thread mixed with apps, ideas and gameplay, i've decided to make the two seperate.
The Plan.
The plan is to start a fortress where one player will play a turn (usually a year) Save the game and pass the save on to other players so they may start their turn. Community forts are usually done IC by the assigned overseer who generally writes diary logs (screenies are a must)

This is an example of a community fort that got crazy and witty. Anything Goes. The idea is players will sign up on a first come first serve basis, Players are welcome to request dwarves and professions but the completion of the request is ultimately down to the current player to add those in.For this fortress I would like you all to use this. mkv25.net/dfma/index.php
At the end of every turn I want the current player to upload a Map of the end of their turn as this will allow us to build a fortress timeline and it also allows for cool tours of the fortress and how things changed over time. Heres an example of a fort i was part of a very long time ago.http://mkv25.net/dfma/map-6257-sparkgear3
The Choice. We will need to decide wether or not mods will be used, i personnaly prefer the DF masterwork mod, which can range from easy, to outright curb stomping hard. The mods must actually have something to them to make them playable. For example, on tools old thread someone suggest a SS13 themed mod, however the mod contained no content and has been dead for the last 2 years or so.Decisions Decisions. When the time is right i will add polls to find out what you guys feel is best.
Finally.
Have fun, Anything goes, from water pressurised traps to magma falls to minecart shotguns it's all the players choice!
Lastly (fur realz this time)
