So, I understand this may or may not be completely understood from the title, so I made this GIF here to illustrate. The GIF is of me clicking remove multiple times, to no avail. (you can see the color of the link changing when clicked).
...I have no other comments to add other than that this is extremely fakkin' odd, and I have found no other way to remove it...
