I was working in the bar and I wanted to move the All-in-one grinder that is placed in the backroom of the bar into the front but I couldn't do so, I tried everything. It might be scripted as a heavy machinary item, is there anyway possible to script the item different to make it to where it's draggable?

The actual way to do it is super simple, and I could probably freehand write it in here easily enough. I'm thinking, the idea is suppose to be customization of areas, with enabling the movement of heavy machines, such as grinders, drink dispensers, etc.
It would be a bit useless to simply give this to every single machine we want unwrenchable and moveable. Instead, I should be able to easily enough make a global variable, and apply it to all sorts of machine.
Just, the question becomes, what other machinery do we want unwrenchable for the sake of adjustment and reorganization?
Post that shit here, and I'll see if it's worth doing!

The only other machines that come to mind are the vending machines (as long as that doesn't conflict with them being hackable and restockable). Everything else I can think of is heavy, complex equipment from medical, science or engineering, that should have no business being outside of its designated area.

How about drink dispensers from the bar? Some would-be engineers (*cough*Kaylee*cough*) may be inclined to redesign the area and move them about.

Chem dispensers would be nice. I'd like to steal the chem dispenser one round and set up a illegal hooch bar.

Chem dispensers would be nice. I'd like to steal the chem dispenser one round and set up a illegal hooch bar. You know what? I actually like this idea. It opens up a lot of opportunities, and the potential for abuse is kinda offset by the fact that they can't be replaced, and thus a chem dispenser gone missing would be pretty friggin obvious to notice. The only thing I'm concerned about is that chem dispensers are rather complex lab machines, and you generally don't see people move lab machines around and prop them up anywhere irl. Though since this one works using only electricity, I guess it could be weaved in, in-universe.

How about code it in that a vending machine/chem dispenser/booze display can be toppled over to crush someone?
Instagibs.
Doeet.

Good... good... soon my master plan of locking the chef in the freezer... then stealing all of the food and drink venders on the station will take place! Haha! Take that NanoTrasen! Ah haha!

I mean, you can drag around airlock assemblies.

Right now, what we have moveable: vending machines (those that make sense, I imagine the more secure ones to be bolted and welded and no) chemistry-related machinery (minus the smartfridges, as that could lead to horrible) operating tables

Hi. Just popping in to point out there already exists a global variable that does exactly what you want.
Anchored.
Wrenching and unwrenching the AI core actually toggles this var on and off. Implementation would be a matter of copy-pasting.

Implementation would be a matter of copy-pasting. I am aware, but. Simply using anchored would mean slapping about 7 lines of code per every item I want moveable. Instead, I made a new variable which allows manipulation as is necessary.
