I've seen an issue regarding traitors having targets go SSD. The issue is that they tend to continue to go for the target even though they can't resist or call for help, making their mission easy mode with no RP. This usually goes with admin blessing if asked, sadly. Perhaps it would be better to make it so a traitor must request admins to give them a different target if their current leaves the server?

I don't see any justification for allowing antagonists to murder or rob SSD players because it presents no challenges and does not foster roleplay in the slightest.
Pls fix.

I for one think all SSD crew members should be taken to the chef for foodification.

Bit of a conundrum.
On one hand, it does suck for a person going SSD to come back and find out they've been killed by a traitor. But the moment you end up being a traitor's objective, that kind of screws with your plans anyway. I dunno if I'm the only one to see it that way, but if a traitor is going to kill me, the only difference between being killed while SSD or not is I miss on all the good "being killed" action which is more of an "aw, shucks" moment than anything else.
On the other hand, making SSD objectives off-limit kind of induces a problem, because 1. the antag might have planned a whole thing for them, only to have the target disconnect (and sometimes, you can ask for a target change, but some other times your plan only works for that target), and 2. the target might SSD out of spite (maybe a minor issue, but yes, I've seen it happen). In both of these instances, the target becoming unusable becomes a big "screw you" to the antag's plans, should they no longer be allowed to carry out their objective.
Another aspect to consider is that you can still foster a lot of roleplay without the victim being present. In one instance, I arrested someone on a false charge, only to have them (purposely) AFK on me in the interrogation room. After setting up a scene where I succeeded to knock them out cold (faking them having attacked me first), I managed to get a lot of good RP in with the rest of the brig, and I think pretty much everybody was happy in that event (save for the target who rage-AFK'ed).
Again, the counterpart of that is that some people will simply greentext and kill their SSD target, stash their body somewhere, and proceed to do nothing for the rest of the round.
Something topical that's been thrown around a lot in the past days, objectiveless antags, would actually solve that problem, for the most part. Antags are already free to improvise, but by putting less focus on "kill person X no matter what", we'll prevent a lot of situations where a target will go SSD without having had a chance to interact with their antag at all.
