In this thread, I would like to address a point which had been the cause of a lot of issues, malcontent, and even clashes within this community.
Namely, it is the point of communication. More specifically, the point of communicating issues to the staff.
Here is the main issue, instead of putting up official requests for action, people simply bottle their thoughts up and keep going forwards. Sometimes they also use OOC and other not objective oriented place to vent, rant (will get around to this shortly).
This leads to bottled up anger at issues that the staff might not even know exist. And when something pushes them over the edge, bam, the community loses a member. This is not the way it ought to be.
We have very good staff, people who are very capable of looking at things objectively, and even owning up to their own mistakes, and saying, "Hey, I'm sincerely sorry about doing that." But the staff are not omnipotent, they cannot help with issues that they do not know exist.
Please, do not create further trouble for yourself or the community, post your issues and concerns in the appropriate areas. Or constant a member of staff about it personally, if it's sensitive. Whether someone just ganked you ingame, or has been showcasing inappropriate conduct on the forums, tell us! So that we could solve it with, and for you!
And this applies to staff as well. There shouldn't be any barriers between lanes of communication, between staff members themselves. My door is, and always will be open, even if I am the cause of an issue in question.
And please! Use the appropriate channels! A well formatted ban request or admin complaint will give us infinitely more to work on than a rant on OOC ever would.
