Shameless self plug. Hello. I am part of the very small coding staff from Exogenesis station and I recently introduced new security uniforms that replace the largely unused white-red set that are in the security wardrobe. I figured that perhaps another heavy roleplay server might appreciate having this. I have always been largely opposed to jumpsuits in general and security had no actual official-feeling uniform. Something that says 'corpsec'. Thusly this was provided. Note: Standard officer uniform now has white bars instead of red for visibility. Note note: Pls ignore bottom sprites. Your server does not have tactical armor as far as I am aware. The jackets and uniforms are no different than standard security uniforms in terms of armoring; I would be able to provide the code for them from my personal repo should there be interest. Ideally they would spawn in closets with laceup shoes. A distinction from the normal militaristic security uniform.

These look good, and I don't see why we wouldn't have them, seeing as half sec already runs around in tacticool and assorted suits. I definitely wouldn't be against implementing these. Out of curiosity, and just for the sake of argument, I took the liberty of adjusting the saturation on the red shirts to bring them closer to "security red", the current shade that jumpsuits (and most things in the brig) use. I honestly like the darker, more toned-down shade of red better, as SS13's visuals are quite dated, but I think uniformity is important, and it could get confusing if sec had more colors than they already have?

The more faded shade of red is taken from the same colors as the white-red alternate uniform in the security wardrobe, if that means anything. The black slacks are sampled from the black uniform.

I don't think I've ever seen the alt sec uniforms, then. You'll have to forgive me :xAlthough I guess that further proves your point that it could be replaced.

Those bottom sprites make me think we should integrate tactical armor, because they're hella sexy.

We have tactical armour. At least the vest to my knowledge.

The dark shit looks like goth Chitin armor from Elder scrolls, as well. So I can't say I hate it. Although, unless they have night vision in them, I dont know why the eyes are green.

I liked the colouring it's really gud but tbh it's not really fitting the sec description we have. Soz.

I like it. They look more like actual officers.

I sorta like Susan's version with the desaturated red as the primary color. I also like that nightvision helmet.

Eh, even if it doesn't grant night vision I still think it looks pretty fuckin' cool.

The original idea with the helmet was to allow security to attach different goggles to it. Nightvision, thermals, mesons, etc.
Something I am working on in my spare time.

And personally, I like the icons themselves...they're just too...policey. Great icons themselves, but they're just not fitting really, in my opinion.

First up, the replacement for the red/white uniforms. The way I see it: the red/whites are dress-whites. Meaning, uniforms meant to be worn during the summer months. Because we are on a spess-station, though, you can wear them whenever you kinda sorta feel like it.
Personally, I'd rather not replace them with more red. It's nice to have options, options that introduce a bit of variety into the colour pallet.
Also, the black ones which you have showcased are as formal as things can get, and would not serve a practical usage (I battled Nightmare with this point a good count of months back. Lanyards/medals/whatever = potential leverage and hazard).
Now, let's get onto the fun subject. The NVGs/helmets with interchangeable goggles. If required, I do have a bit of an idea on how to make these things function as intended. It may be a bit of a haxy way, utilizing multiple parents instead of one (because frankly, importing large chunks of code is impractical), but I am fairly confident that I could get it to work.
Just a thought, though.
