So I'm just going to come right out and say it, without dancing around the issue. The level of racism you see on the station is not what I would expect to see, given the stage of history humanity in the server lore. Keep in mind, I'm not advocating racism, nor race superiority, nor any shit like that, considering that I'm a Neopolitan mix of ethnicities and have been the victim of some racism myself.
What I'm saying, is that the level of racism towards other species (Uneth, Tajarans, Dionea and IPCs) is not really realistic, given the length of time that humans have been acquainted with them, and the major differences between them.
I'm going to give an example from history, the time periods associated with slavery in the United States. Slavery in what would become the United States began in the early 1620s. Slaves owned by the Virginia company were sent over on colony ships. The heritage of slavery officially persisted until the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, and even then it continued under the name of indentured servitude. Even after slavery of African Americans was abolished, they faced extreme racial prejudice and persecution that went on well into the late 20th century. Traces of racism are still in the population of the US today, especially directed towards low income African Americans and Hispanics.
If it took that long for people to stop being openly racist to just slightly different looking humans, imagine the kind of racism that would be applied towards an anthropomorphic cat that is willing to work for next to nothing, and who is applying for the same job that you are. Or a giant lizard that looks at you with contempt even if their species didn't possess any advanced technology until humans arrived. Or a soulless machine that doesn't need to be paid and can take up high level positions because they don't need to do things like attend a college, and instead download the information they need directly.
I'm just saying, once again, that the level of social acceptance is a bit unrealistic.
