ACCESS CODE: G823G23G239 DIRECTOR ACCESS TERMINAL
DECLASSIFICATION COMPLETE SUBJECT: BRUTE-FORCE HACKING ATTEMPTS DATE UPLOADED: 27/07/2455 DATE LAST MODIFIED: 10/05/2456
It has been noted that our electronic systems have become susceptible to brute force hacking attempts, primarily in the form of a hand-held item. This device rapidly runs through all possible combinations in a piece of equipment, overloading it’s Central processing unit and deactivating it, or worse, grants external forces access remotely to the system. This occurrence has been noted to occur with doors, synthetic units, various computer systems and even arcade machines. In all cases it causes severe electronic fatigue to the system, The only positive side to this is that the device is question, no matter how efficiently it uses it’s energy, runs a high risk of overheating and damaging it’s circuitry, limiting the amount each device can be used. We are looking into methods of shielding vital systems from this flaw.
