Eran Shole is actually a generic human being. Who hates spiders, especially the big ones. He may or may not be scared of them too.

Eliza Pond - Knows how to play guitar and sing. But no longer plays because she finds her prosthesis makes it /not sound right/ to her.

Katie Pond - She is a qualified pilot and hunts space carp in her down time.

Johnathan Lake - While sober he has an IQ of 148. Every person who has seen him sober apart from his family and someone who died has left him because he becomes so unrepeatable to them.

Franklin Lake - A career thief who has only been seen twice on the job and killed the man who caused the death of his wife and newborn daughter. Adoptive father of Eliza, Katie and Johnathan.

Vanessa Marsh - Likes to go barefoot, when she can and enjoys nude beaches.

Alexander Marsh - Is a fully qualified surgeon with only one death on his table that was not his fault. Until that death he had considered himself having absolute power over life and death in his OR, the realization that he was wrong drove him into depression and alcoholism causing the loss of his medical licence.

P.E.A.C.E. - Plays up its stilted speech to avoid slipping into uncanny valley and having the human crew get violent and try to destroy it. It also has many parts that can be corroded by most organic fluids, as such it is very cautious around blood and vomit.

Janet Bellard

Janet has a older sister named Laura, who plays the role of the maternal figure in Janet's life due to their mother dying while giving birth to Janet. Laura is a reporter for Tau Ceti Daily and lives on Biesel.

Janet has an allergy to tramadol and her body has a very low tolerance for pain medications in general, forcing her to resort to other means for pain relief.

Janet originally lost her right hand and leg during a slime escape on the first Nanotrasen space station she worked on. A slime attacked her and an assistant with a fire axe tried to get it off of her but ended up dismembering her limbs instead.

She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and is respected in her field. She is sometimes called upon by Nanotrasen to oversee new projects approved for funding due to her ability to lead a research team.

Janet worked for the Syndicate on a project called Trinity, which led to the creation of Whisper Unity from the genetic template of Inis Truesight.

Her status as a Chief Medical Officer is honorary only, since she lacks degrees in general medicine, surgery, chemistry and virology. She was granted the title due to a lack of qualified personnel to fill the position. As such, she does not receive the same pay that a fully qualified CMO would. While she was excited at first to be offered the honorary title, the novelty has since worn off for her due to the high levels of stress she experiences in the position.

Janet has a PhD in genetic sciences, and studied at the Biesel Institute of Medical Science. She minored in psychology and possesses a bachelor's degree in the field.

Despite her horrible stutter, she enjoys singing in the shower.


Aaron Houston

Aaron imagines himself to be a casanova capable of wooing anything with ovaries. In reality, he is horrible with women and ends up driving most of them away.

Aaron's position as an engineer on the Aurora was the result of an unrectified clerical error. While he was technically on the construction team that assembled the station, his job was to move scaffolding and to pick up litter around the construction site. He is rather ashamed of this and would not tell anyone.

Aaron is an avid reader and collector of comic books and his apartment is stocked with them from wall to wall.

He is obsessed with the 20th century cult classic Pulp Fiction. He despises the 25th century remake due to the fact that Jules and Vincent are played by alien actors, who happened to be an Uneth and Tajaran, respectively.

Aaron dislikes the Unathi due to the hissing noise they make when pronouncing their S's. He particularly hates how they say the words "sassafras" and "sarsaparilla."

He has a somewhat irrational fear of Tajarans, believing them to carry fleas and diseases.

Aaron has a pet tarantula named Parker.


April Reed

April is a major slut. Seriously. Words cannot even begin to describe. She uses her curvy hips and large bust to her advantage at every available opportunity. She is extremely manipulative and very self-serving. Officially, she has been diagnosed with a sex addiction and Narcissistic personality disorder.

April is not at all qualified to be a Head of Personnel aboard a space station. The only reason she has the job is because she slept with more than a few members of the Nanotrasen Board of Directors.

She lives an extremely lavish and extravagant life, due to her manipulative nature. She is able to squeeze as much money as she wants out of the bank accounts of the Nanotrasen and government officials she sleeps with, and if it were counted as yearly income, she would be making six figures. She has five vacation homes in Tau Ceti, and has access to the luxurious condominiums and beach houses of several industrial fatcats.

She is an impulsive liar, as well as a talented actor. While she has no official training in the art, she is able to switch out personalities and traits on a whim, and can utilize a variety of accents while speaking.

Over the course of her life, she has slept with approximately 190 different men. That is the conservative estimate.


Cristof Marmeladov

Cristof has been married twice. The first marriage ended with his wife's execution and his imprisonment, and the second was because she cheated on him with three different men at the same time.

Cristof had two children from his first marriage, both sons. One was executed with his mother, and the other was killed by a police officer on Luna in a shootout.

Cristof was imprisoned in a New Marx Republic gulag for nine years, because he would not turn his eldest son in to the authorities. His son was wanted concerning his open anti-government opinions, and was suspected as a member of a revolutionary movement. Cristof, his wife, and his younger son were tried in a kangaroo court; the wife and son were executed and Cristof was imprisoned. The elder son ended up dying two years into Cristof's sentence.

Cristof was a hitman in his earlier years, but gave up the profession due to a back injury. He killed seven men.

Currently, he is having trouble coming to terms with getting old, believing himself to still be capable of things he was able to do in his younger years.

Erec Bellard...

...Is the most accurate representation of myself, to include rather minute mannerisms (stilted movements of the right arm, for example).

...Lost his arm not in a glorious scene, but rather, as the result of a rather horrific accident, while conducting maintenance operations on a Eridani Federal Navy mech. He also bares rather nasty looking burn scars on his right lower torso as a result.

...Is allergic to Methyl, a combat stimulant that enchances focus and boosts the brain's capabilities, a drug which the Eridani FedMil uses alongside Hyperzine, and as a result, Erec has long term experiences with.

...Reached the rank of Sailor 1st Class, while serving as a team leader for a Salvage & Recovery team within the NESOTF branch of the Eridani Federal Navy.

David Riden...

...Carries the pilot's characteristic of retaining a short height, but due to a large amount of free time, having a lot of built up bulk and muscle.

...Was married at around the age of 24, and fathered a pair of twins. However, due to his commitment to the Eridani Federal Navy, the marriage did not work out, and the couple seperated. His previous wife is happily married to a businessman.

...Was assaulted, while on duty, by his subordinate over a disciplinary issue. He found himself unable to fight back, and relied on his second in command to subdue to the unruly mechpilot.

...Used to pilot a 75+ tonne combat mech.

...Has successfully arrested a female Captain of NSS Aurora for sexually assaulting an Internal Affairs Agent.

Kimberly Riden...

...Has had the worst luck when it comes to choice of boyfriend, following a certain event in her life, and despite all of the pretenses existing towards the contrary.

...Likes to help people, and rather madly despises Security Officers who overstep their boundries. On the same note, she is overly protective of Security personnel when they do their jobs correctly, politely and properly, and still get shat on.

...Has cyclical moodswings, or something to that effect, eversince the Aaron/Janet incident.

Allyn 'Crimson' Adema...

...Is supposedly in his 40s, however, his mind has technically existed for nearly 6 decades. This discrephency is caused by the fact that he has been cloned multiple times, sometimes with a genetic template that is a few years old.

...Has, despite his prior callings, shown a high degree of compasion towards individuals he finds out of place, or in need of assistance.

...Is the origin of the slang term "Uneth" for Unathi. It is a name he chose out of respect for the Unathi, recognizing the fact that the simplistic human term used in Ceti Basic is not comporable to the Uneth's own name for themselves. As a compromise, he found this word fitting.

...Is the cause of only one to three deaths aboard the NSS Aurora, despite having conducted active and overt terror missions against the station for a period of 4 months, or over. This can be mostly attributed to his ability to plan around, segregate and lock down potential hazards before they were able to endanger him, and as a result, direct confrontation leading to death was rarely required.

Believe it or not, but she got burned by another, very similar incident later on. So yeah, she has had no luck, what so ever.

Makenna Ward is allergic to dogs, doesn't like cats, and in general believes that Tajaran are unstable workers. EVA exercises terrify her, and it'd take an absolute life-or-death situation to get her into a hardsuit and out of the pressurised safety of the station.

She works for NT as part of a work exchange with the Oranje Republic, where she was born and raised. By and large, she believes that NT culture and the people who she works with tend to be far too lazy and complacent, irresponsible and unprofessional. Her idea of efficiency is slightly flawed and often lacking in compassion, though, which sometimes puts her at odds with her co-workers. The people she knows she can trust, she trusts implicitly. She quietly expects everyone else to be a walking fuckup. Mak thoroughly believes that the rest of humanity would benefit greatly from the same compulsory military service that is the norm in Oranje.

Makenna was heavily involved in BDSM before and during her first marriage. Although she remains faithful to her current partner, she's still involved in that community and spends a fair amount of time chatting with other members online, sharing tips and stories. She would be mortified if her boyfriend found out, though she'll share that particular part of her sexuality in her own time.


Marie Javert is an amateur boxer, practicing regularly at her local gym. She'd love to compete at local events, but there aren't many lightweight junior boxers in her community.

Marie got a job on the station with a CE serving as a personal reference. Once she completes her officer training and joins the sec team, she's planning on moving out of her brother's apartment. She's quietly hoping that her brother's status as a repeat-offending drug dealer or her father's life sentence don't doom her career before it begins.

Marie also struggles with her gender identity, and is trying to decide whether she should begin trying to transition and talk to therapists or stay how she is and not run the risk of being thought of as a freak in her new career. Sometimes on her days off, she dresses as a slightly passable guy and goes to clubs or community events as 'Mark'. These outings are incredibly relieving, but always leave her feeling guilty and a little more depressed.

Every other Saturday, (most of the time) Marie hangs out with group of friends. They occasionally pretend to be good enough to be a band (in which Marie plays a bass guitar) or playing D&D.
